Meet Elizabeth Harrington

Welcome!

Believing that "life is a daring adventure or NOTHING" (Helen Keller),
(my favorite quote)

I am embracing midlife as the newest part of my life journey.

Midlife is a new stage of our lives isn't it?

No roadmap, no blueprint, no GPS guiding us. It's not as simple as reading a white paper or a "how-to" manual. We are moving into "uncharted territory."

What I know for sure? Aging is inevitable, but how we age is really up to us.

Discovering Your Strengths, Strengths Finder has my top 5 Strengths as:

Strategist: "What if "?

Futuristic: "Wouldn't it be great if?"

Ideation: I am fascinated with and by ideas. My mind is always looking for connections.

Learner: I love to learn. The outcome of learning is less significant to me than getting there.

Maximizer: Excellence NOT average is my measure.

I avoid those who want to fix me and make me well rounded. Its not the talent I lack-I want to capitalize on the gifts with which I am blessed.

Maximizing is MORE FUN. MORE PRODUCTIVE. MORE DEMANDING! (TO ME)

MY VERB is "TO ENGAGE" (my marketing teacher is Alex Mandossian and he loves to get us all focused on our one word verb…(fun exercise-try it for yourself)
Fiercely single and independent for many years, one fateful day on August 4, 2001, I met Tom Spindler at Disney World in Orlando. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" became our wedding song as we married on Makena Beach in Maui, June 30th 2003 and I moved from Toronto Canada to Minneapolis MN, to reinvent my life and begin a new passage.
As an explorer in life and of life, this new passage took boldness and personal courage to a whole new level in my own life! New marriage, new country and far enough away from everything familiar and comfortable that I truly have been blessed to embrace it all and "REDISCOVER" and REINVENT my path.

I am now living in Edina Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis MN, with my husband Tom, an educator, and our two beloved Birman kitties, Indigo Blue and Makena Mahalo.

I get to notice the seasons changing here in my home in the trees and in the "City of Lakes"… A gift I treasure every day after years of urban living and 16 hour work days in a demanding high stress career.

My years of business experience included specializing in Talent Attraction and Retention and Leadership Development and Strategy. I worked with Xerox Corp, City of Toronto (Mayor's Office and Economic Development), and consulted with many Fortune 500 and small-mid-sized business organizations. It's hard to imagine all those experiences crammed into a few sentences!

I jumped into the entrepreneurial world more than 10 years ago in the direct sales industry and it has been a wild rocket ride of learning, growing, adapting and becoming strong and resilient. (Some days I have to remind myself of the gifts from the "inside leadership" lessons I am learning!)

I want to guide you to create your own work.

…to Follow your passion

…to Create and design a life where your purpose is aligned with your strengths and your talents are fully utilized…
…where your life is joyful and happy because you are fully engaged in doing what really matters and you are living the GOOD LIFE.

Oh and the piece of it that is truly compelling for me? From a business perspective? I love connecting entrepreneurs and helping with mapping out marketing strategies and making your offers irresistible!

Fascinated with the changes that technology is bringing to our world by leveraging the connections, Barb and I co-founded New PrimeTime.com in 2008. We want to bring guiding principles and guidance for those midlifers who want to experience a sense of hope and optimism of this next life adventure. All from a web based platform as we connect with you around the world and create a community/tribe and make new friends. Collectively, let's mastermind together and co-create the experience together.

Becoming a Leader for Life is the quest.
