Meet Barb Reindl

So, I have been asked "Who am I"?

OK,  my professional summary is at the bottom of this page…if you want to know about ME…..here goes!

I am a full-fledged "corporate refugee".  Until late 2006, I was all-consumed with the very innovative, fast-paced, thrilling medical device industry.  It really was consuming, much as many careers can be.  I enjoyed plenty about that life.  But honestly was so consumed that I didn't know what I was missing.  I seldom went to my kids sporting events.  I had stopped taking time to enjoy the arts opportunities readily available in the Twin Cities, etc. etc. etc.

I am working on my 3rd career.  I was always impressed with Shirley Temple Black's view of her many careers: actress, mom, diplomat…..in serial fashion.  Well, I did the mom and business executive careers at the same time…..which is appropriate for me, I love to do multiple things at once.  I am still working on the mom career, but simultaneously am taking time to do something new which is business oriented, helps other people, and involves my learning lots of new things.

So, what inspires me and what do I love to do?  Well, quite simply: LOTS OF THINGS!  First of all, I love to help other people.  Most of my favorite accomplishments in life revolved around helping others in some way.  Second, I love to learn…..really anything.  I love to learn about people, history, new ways of thinking, new tools, funny stories, etc.   Lately, I love learning about the web and the wonderful opportunities that it provides for all of us to get information and media that we want and need, in very flexible ways for each of us.  I am one of the "Younger Boomers"…near the end of the Boomer generation, so I am particularly intrigued by the learning and media opportunities that can be available for people like me as embark on the journey of our second half of life.

What do I do when I am not working on the New PRimeTime.com?  I do some coaching and consulting with business leaders.  But beyond that, I have LOTS of interests!  Since becoming a corporate refugee, I do try to have more facetime with my husband Dan, and my teenagers: my son Steven and my daughter, Katherine.  My main exercise venue is playing tennis. I love to garden, dabble in photography and video work.   And, I LOVE to change things….so some home project is almost always going on.  I also care for, groom etc., my Keeshond, Dixie.

So, I hope that my passion for helping others and providing useful information and tools for others like me can result in good for you, our new Primetime, community members!!!!!
