Hang on Midlifers, Facebook is Tweaking yet AGAIN!
No, this is not a repeat post!
About 1% of Facebook users….which does amount to about 2 million people did NOT like the recent changes to the Facebook homepage.
As those of you know, I didn't really think that the changes were that dramatic….just a little bit of pain for new users who were trying to get used to the "old" way.
My biggest complaint is that the one MOST useful feature for those of using Facebook to connect with various audiences, "Friend Lists" has been in old and new version, fairly hidden (You need to click on the word "Friends" on the homepage to create Friend Lists)
Well, let's see what the tweaks in response to users are….I hope they make the creation of Friend Lists a bit more apparent.
Here is a neat article that I found that does a high level summary. http://www.pcworld.com/article/161932/facebook_caves_to_user_gripes_over_redesign.html?tk=rel_news
And, if you want to listen to our last session about the changes or get the handout from that session. The replay is still available. Here is the link to the registration page:
