How do you "safely" email people on your list?

Hi, as you contemplate working on the web, you may be wondering how to create emails and contact people without "spamming" them.  Early on, our mentors recommended "Aweber Communications" as the best communications tool.  I know that other people will use the communications features with 1shoppingcart and with ConstantContact.  As we investigated which tool to use, we certainly didn't find anything major wrong with either of those 2.  However, Aweber continued to come up as THE tool that the experts were using.

So, I think the reasons are more about "What Aweber does" vs. what the others do not.

What is the basic description of what a communications tool does?

A good communications tool makes it easy for you to send "spam free" emails out to people and it also makes it easy to create lists of people who want to be on your lists for future communications.

A good tool also MAKES VERY SURE that people who are on your list truly want to be there…and makes it VERY EASY for them to unsubscribe if they do not.

You see, the key to being authenticate when you are communicating via the web and email is to make sure that you only push communications to people who want it.  For people to want to come back to you, you have to truly have a connection….and truly let people go if they do not want to be on your list.

Aweber REQUIRES that an email sent via them uses a "double opt-in" process….meaning that when you sign up, you will get an email asking you to confirm that you signed up.  If you don't go to the link on that confirmation email, you will NOT be signed up….it is that simple.  In this way, Aweber helps us ensure that you have done 2 steps to sign up with us….thus, helping prevent accidental signing up by someone who did not truly want to be registered with us.

Aweber is a specialist in communications….so if you want a shopping cart, you will need another vendor.  Because they are a specialist, they have lots of safeguards, guidances and tools for us as we communicate with others.  Many of the other internet tool companies integrate with Aweber because of how well know and trusted they are.

So, if you are looking for a communications tool, check them out…here is a link!
