Chaos is the new "normal"?

My beloved MACBOOK PRO has the flu….I remember the blog post in March from Barb Reindl which begged the question..is technology a hindrance

or a help? Now I will be able to answer that question this week-My Macbook Pro is being bundled up and shipped to Texas for some Mother Board

surgery. I have run the gamut of emotions this weekend-from heartbreak, to disbelief, to horror, to sleepless on Sat. night.

What will happen to me?

This MacBook Pro is the lifeblood of EVERYTHING I do!  I will be forced to live a simpler life this week and not sure how I will survive with all the deadlines

looming in my business this week. I am always amazed that technology goes kaflooey on me when I can least afford the down time. Anyone else out there

relate to this dilemna?  So I have my new iphone…and another G4 desktop but everything is on my MAC Book PRO. So the big question will be ..is technology

a hindrance or is it a help? As a new media marketing maven- is this going to be another midlife adventure? Or a week where I fall miserably behind in my projects?

I'll keep you posted….or will I be able to even get up on the internet to do my posts…? If chaos is the new normal….what will life be like without being wired 24/7?

I have heard it said that Freedom is digital. So what does life look like when you're not digital anymore? More time at the gym? Not a bad idea..

Time to get all those simpler chores attended to that just keep dropping to the bottom of the "To Do list?" Like pick up my summer drycleaning?

Not a major push for that since it is mid October ..yet needs to be done..Maybe I'll try the TIm Ferriss plan-work the 4 1/2 hour work week?

Here is something to ponder…"the market for something to believe in is infinite." A quote attributed to Hugh MacLeod, the business cartoonist of Gaping Void. Makes sense to me.

In today's  world, if chaos is the new normal, then being able to believe in something meaningful is truly infinite.

Maybe that's why I'm particularly stung by this MAC Book Pro issue. Apples work. MACINTOSH computers work.

I should know this. I've had Apple computers since 1990 with my first Powerbook.

Never a problem. For years, I've giggled (secretly) when so many were battling the Windows issues.  So here I am, caught up with a Logic Board

problem.

Imagine what would happen to your business if your customers believed that what you produce had this kind of superior quality?

Awesome success.  I will be writing a lot about this marketing strategy over the next few weeks. I promise to keep you up to date with the perils of

Elizabeth and her Mac Attack as the week unfolds.
